OUR STORY / DOOVIE RHYTHM FOUNDRY
A drummer. A kit full of possibilities.
And nowhere sensible to clip an in-ear monitor.
I’m a drummer, and Doovie started with the everyday frustrations that come with being one.
One day, I was sitting at the kit trying to figure out where to clip my in-ear monitor. The floor tom wasn’t an option. I couldn’t just let it hang. And duct-taping it to the side of my drum throne didn’t feel like the answer.
I just needed a place to clip it.
That one question got me thinking about all the other things that never seemed to have a place.
SOUND FAMILIAR?
You sit down to play, and suddenly you need somewhere to put them.
The things you reach for throughout the night should be close by and easy to grab.
Because our guitarist will undoubtedly need one before the night is over.

02 / MAKING A PLACE
I wanted storage close to where I sit—somewhere to keep the little things, with a way to attach the things I use most.
Being able to design parts and prototype them with 3D printing gave me a way to work through those ideas. Instead of just thinking about a solution, I could make something and try it at the kit.
That thinking became SideStage: a drum-throne-mounted organizer with a general storage area and connections for a drink holder, stick holder, and in-ear monitor mount.
03 / SHARING WHAT HELPS
The more these ideas helped me, the more I wanted to share them. That’s where Doovie Rhythm Foundry comes from: being a drummer, noticing what gets in the way, and making something that helps.
It starts with a real need. And sometimes, a simple question from behind the kit.
